AImpacto Hackathon 2026
Coming October 2026: a two-day AI education and entrepreneurship hackathon where participants learn by building real AI solutions with expert mentorship.
Part of the project
AImpacto Hackathon 2026
The AImpacto Hackathon 2026 is a 48-hour AI learning and entrepreneurship experience for
university students, mentors, and partners in Madrid. Taking place on 16-17 October at the
Madrid Innovation Lab (MIL).
Most hackathons reward the best pitch. The AImpacto Hackathon 2026 is built to
reward the best learning.
The project brings together university students, AI experts, startup founders, and business
mentors in an intensive 48-hour building experience hosted at the Madrid Innovation Lab
(MIL) - one of Madrid’s most dynamic spaces for builders and changemakers. Teams will
work on real problems, learn AI foundations, receive direct mentorship, and present what
they actually built and understood.
The programme is structured around four learning phases:
1. Team formation around real problems and complementary skills, pairing technical
builders with people who understand markets and users.
2. Technical development through hands-on AI building, covering machine learning
fundamentals, prompt engineering, and product thinking.
3. Speed-dating mentorship with AI researchers, startup founders, and industry
experts who give rotating, personalised feedback on what you’re actually building.
4. Technical presentations where every team member - not just one spokesperson -
explains their individual contribution and what they learned.
Evaluation focuses on 3 things: individual contribution, technical understanding, and problem
identification.
Our partners:
This hackathon is made possible with the support of Tetuán Valley, Madrid’s leading startup
accelerator, whose network of founders and AI experts will be embedded throughout the
event as technical mentors, Women in AI Spain, a global community dedicated to increasing diversity and inclusion in artificial intelligence while connecting emerging talent with industry leaders and practitioners - and Madrid Innovation Lab (MIL), our host venue, a curated
innovation hub designed for exactly this kind of intensive, collaborative building experience.
The goal is to help every participant leave with practical AI skills, clearer entrepreneurial
judgment, and a stronger sense of how technology can create responsible social impact.
Places are limited. Register now and our team will be in touch with next steps.
