Ella, Inc. Entrepreneurship & Leadership Workshop for Young Women 2026-2027
activeThis project consists of hosting the Ella, Inc. (Entrepreneurial Ladies Leading with Action) Program in Madrid, an international initiative of the Casimiro Global Foundation established in 2000. Ella, Inc. is designed to empower young women aged 15–18 to develop entrepreneurial projects that address social challenges within their communities. The program centers on a 2.5-day in-person intensive workshop focused on leadership development, innovation, and business modeling for social impact. It culminates in a pitch competition in which the three top participants are awarded full scholarships (valued at $2,700 each) to attend the Ella, Inc. Camp at Florida International University (FIU) in Miami in June 2027. The scholarship covers tuition, lodging, meals, and all camp activities, excluding airfare. Since 2022, Ella, Inc. has impacted more than 200 girls and is currently active in nine countries, including Mexico, the United States, Costa Rica, Honduras, Ecuador, and the Dominican Republic.
The workshop structure is as follows:
Duration: 2.5 days
Day 1 (Friday): begins at 3:00 PM
Day 2 (Saturday): 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Day 3 (Sunday): 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, including the final pitch competition
The Founder and CEO of the Ella, Inc. Program, Juan Casimiro, travels to deliver the workshop
Participant criteria include:
A minimum of 20 girls aged 15–18
Intermediate to advanced English proficiency
A valid U.S. visa for June 2027 (required for scholarship winners)
Full attendance commitment for the three days
Financial ability to cover airfare to Miami if selected as a finalist
The purpose of this initiative is to equip young women with practical entrepreneurial tools, structured thinking, public speaking confidence, and exposure to international academic environments. Participants do not merely learn theoretical concepts; they build actionable social impact projects and defend them publicly before a jury.
This project reflects AImpacto Rotaract’s commitment to leadership development, gender empowerment, and global educational opportunities. In a world where young women are often encouraged to participate but not to lead, Ella, Inc. creates a structured pathway toward agency, ownership, and action.
